Fans of Sleepy Hollow can attest that while lost-in-time hero Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and modern-day sheriff Abbie Mills (Nichole Baharie) battle the forces of apocalyptic evil, a simmering sexual tension between the two is always bubbling beneath the surface.
Sleepy Hollow Family Campground is a seasonal only Campground. We are located on 100 acres just 7 miles from the 9th Street beaches and boardwalk in beautiful Ocean City, NJ. We specialize in helping families make memories that last a lifetime. Informed RVers have rated 4 campgrounds near Sleepy Hollow, New York. Closest Campground to 9th St. Ocean City, NJ 132 Bevis Mill Rd, Egg Harbor Twp, NJ 08234 609-927-1969.
Yet as much as viewers may want Ichabod and Abbie to lock lips, Mison says we shouldn’t hold our breath. “It’s a unique relationship in television,” he tells ET Canada. “You don’t often see one like this — I think it would spoil it if we were romantically entangled… They’re partners who probably wouldn’t have chosen each other if they had the choice, but they’re together and I think it’s a sensible decision not to put them together.”
Meanwhile, Mison jokes that, in much the same way Ichabod demands to be the centre of attention in whatever situation he happens to be in, the actor who plays him is pretty much the same way on set — and he quips that he’s issued instructions to producers when it comes to casting male guest stars. “I’d say that every time they cast someone, just make sure he’s not handsome,” he says, although he admits this tactic hasn’t worked. “They’ve ignored me. They’ve cast several very, very beautiful men in this.”
You can catch more of Tom Mison’s interview on tonight’s edition of ET Canada, airing at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on Global.
And don’t miss the exciting adventures of Ichabod and Abbie on Sleepy Hollow, airing Monday nights on Global.

We are closed seasonally from December 1 until May 1
- DESCRIPTION:
- A place away from the rest of the world, but within a short drive to the best Northwest Michigan has to offer. We are on a quiet road away from the hustle and bustle. Peaceful, quiet, one acre property surrounded by deep wooded forests. If you are looking to get away, this is it! A two site, private, full hook-up RV campground with all the amenities including high speed internet. (3rd site available for groups of family and friends upon request only). This is glamping at its BEST! You will not find a more charming place so close to the lakes of Northwest Michigan's lower peninsula and all within driving distance to the coolest cities.
- WHAT WE ARE NOT! In full disclosure, we are not a commercial resort campground or a state park: this is our family property. We are excited in the joy and happy moments this land brings to our family and others. If you are looking for morning spa treatments with afternoon manicures near the infinity pool without insects and white glove service this is not the place for you and that is okay with us. If you want a place with a hundred sites and tons of people around you this is not going to be a place you want to stay. We will not rent to more than two families at one time because it ruins the experience and defeats the goal of having peace and quiet. For this reason, we have a strict cancellation policy and availability is limited.
- When you arrive you MUST BACK-IN your rig from the road! You CANNOT pull straight in. If you pull straight in, backing into a site will be incredibly more difficult and you will end up on the lawn. We do not have pull through sites. If you are new to your RV and do not have experience driving you may not want to book with us. Reasonably experienced drivers will have no issues. A solid 12’ wide crushed gravel driveway leads to the sites. All sites are level and have a crushed gravel base accommodating rigs up to 36’ long with multiple slide outs. This is a full hookup campground with electric (30 or 50 amp); water (hose 50’ suggested); and septic. Internet/Wifi service is FREE and included with your stay as cell phone service is non-existent at our place (use wifi calling option on your phone). Trash bin is at the end of the driveway. Firewood is FREE and included with your stay! Please DO NOT cut down trees. We welcome pets but ask that you clean up after them and be respectful of our neighbor's property and chickens which roam freely on the grounds. Picnic tables are provided as well although they are not shown in the photographs. We are working on having a fire pit for each site, but for the time being there is a community fire pit. We make improvements regularly so check back often :)
- At this time, we DO NOT accommodate stand alone tent camping as we have no restroom facilities. However, if you have an RV and bring a tent with you that is cool, just let us know and we will show you the best spot to set up the tent.
- WHAT TO SEE AND DO:
- Bring your boats, canoes, kayaks, bathing suits, and fishing poles! Less than a 3 minute walk to Echo Township Park (Six Mile Lake) with beach, playground and boat launch (yes, you can literally walk there). 25 minutes to Torch Lake Township Day Park (Torch Lake), Antrim Creek Nature Area (Lake Michigan), Norwood Township Park (Lake Michigan), Elm Pointe Recreation area (Lake Charlevoix's South Arm), or Notewares Landing Beach (Lake Bellaire).
- Hiking at its best! Glacial Hills Pathway and Natural Area Trailhead (Bellaire); Avalanche Preserve (Boyne City); Sleepy Hollow Nature Preserve (East Jordan); and Northpoint Nature Preserve (Charlevoix).
- Go shopping or out to eat! 15 minutes to East Jordan, Bellaire (Short's Brewery), Central Lake or Ellsworth. 25 minutes to Charlevoix (don't forget to visit Castle Farms). 30 minutes to Boyne City. 35 minutes to Elk Rapids. 45 minutes to Petoskey. 1 hour to Traverse City. Hour and a half to Mackinaw City.
- RATES: Each RV is $45.00 per night. One family per site. We provide a discount for 7 nights: get 7 nights for $270.00 per RV. Check-In is 1:00 p.m. and Check-Out is 11:00 a.m. This is a full hookup RV campground. High speed WIFI and firewood are FREE. Payment can be made by Paypal. We are closed seasonally from December 1 until May 1. To reiterate, we will not rent to more than two families at one time so availability is limited.
- CANCELLATION: If cancelled 30 days prior to scheduled arrival a full refund will be provided; otherwise, no refund will be provided.
